    Billing Resolution Specialist is responsible for researching, analyzing, and addressing inquiries and transactions around billing, payments, and refunds. Processing transactions around exception payments, changes to billing payment plans, to meet or exceed acceptable standards. Assisting Agents, school payroll administrators, clients and business partners while providing exceptional distinctive service. This is an in office position must be able to commute to Springfield, IL office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research, review, evaluate, and process change requests and premium receivables at an account, policy or group level for P&C, while upholding regulated and filed rules.
    • Provide an exceptional level of Distinctive Service consistently including all interactions with Clients, Agents, Schools, and business partners. Interactions will involve both email and calls.
    • Continuously seek process improvements, eliminating gaps, redundancies, ensuring all controls/operating procedures are followed and striving for first call and/or once and done resolution.
    • Maintain individual production and quality standards for all work assigned including reports, work queues, and activities.
    • Uphold regulated and filed rules.
    • Actively participates in collaborative work efforts, training, and team meetings.
    • Routinely provides updates on production and quality for any assigned work to ensure transparency of service level expectations.
    Requirements:
    • H.S. diploma or GED equivalent, required.
    • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, agents, and internal business partners.
    • Math and critical thinking skills required and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, agents, and internal business partners.
