    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Per Diem Radiation Oncologist Position:

    Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is recruiting a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join our team atSt. Michael Medical Centerin Silverdale, Washington.

    The ideal candidate is experienced with all radiation modalities including IMRT, SBRT, and is motivated to help grow radiation services as part of VMFHs community practice service in the Puget Sound area of Washington. Additional experience with HDR brachytherapy, clinical program development, quality improvement, and accreditations is preferred.

    Job Requirements
    • Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited program.
    • Board Certified/Eligible in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Medical Specialties
    • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
    • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
    • Ideal candidate is three plus years post residency
    • Proven ability to work in an integrated multidisciplinary environment
    • Has a commitment to patient and team-centered medicine
    • Has outstanding interpersonal relationships with peers, administrators and staff
    • Has an interest in community-based radiation oncology within a highly integrated system
