    Description

    Security Administrator

    Summary:
    • Implement and configure security software such as anti-virus, firewall, intrusion detection and more
    • Manage the configuration of active directory domain and group policies
    • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
    • Administer an Exchange e-mail system and Barracuda Security Gateway
    • Design, implement and manage PC and server imaging process
    • Maintains documentation of servers, security, domain policies, and installation instructions
    • Research, acquire, design, and build a new virtual desk opt environment
    • Respond to and resolve help desk requests and manage backlog
    • Assist in purchasing and hardware evaluations.
    • Responsible for backup of all Windows servers and necessary workstations
    • Installs and maintains computer hardware within hospital and outside facilities
    • Work as team player and share other technology duties as assigned
    • Respond to help desk requests after hours during assigned weeks
    • Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
    Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required.

    Experience:

    5 to 7 years of network/hardware support experience. Experience with hospital information systems a plus

    Additional Skills / Abilities:

    Must be able to effectively communicate with employees and managers regarding sensitive issues. Must be proficient in the use of the personal computer, email, and Microsoft software. Must be able to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks and maintain control of workflow. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
