- Perform engineering, design, and development of shipbuilding specifications, drawings, acquisition and program documents
- Perform evaluations of structural analysis to ensure compliance with government and industry standards
- Conduct hydrostatic calculations and assessments (weight estimates and stability assessments)
- Bachelors Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine, Ocean, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with vessel design, construction, and repair
- Working experience designing and analyzing marine structures/vessels
- Masters Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine, Ocean, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
