    Description

    Commercial Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for a permanent Underwriter to join their growing team

    Responsibilities:

    • Underwrite business loan requests of all sizes utilizing business and personal financial information.
    • Perform annual financial and collateral review process for commercial credit relationships.
    • Coordinate and oversee efforts to collect all necessary financial information, maintaining a master schedule for all required loan reviews within the portfolio.
    • Prepare Commercial Loans Problem Watch List and provide recommendations for Loan Loss Allowances for impaired credits.
    • Attend all loan committee meetings and prepare and maintain loan committee minutes.
    • Assist loan officers in monitoring past due loans, non-accruals, and maturing loans.

    Requirements:

    • 2-6 years experience in commercial credit and underwriting within the Commercial Banking space.
    • Must be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
    • Previous CRE experience is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree
