- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse
- 5 years' experience as a professional nurse, with one year administrative/supervisory experience in community health, and/or home health care
- Assess field staff competence in accordance with approved nursing standards of care to determine appropriate clinical placement
- Create an individualized plan of education in accordance with the level of competency of nurse to include, but not limited to, classes, 1:1 skills lab, and on-site orientations
- Support Operations Manager in field staff recruitment, retention, and engagement
- Responsible for coordinating all classes, in-service to include BLS and Vent training
- Develop and teach all in-services/continuing education classes based on Agency needs, including the Agency's Extensive Orientation Program (EOP) for all new grads
- Direct and provide training of all staff on use of Electronic Medical Records
- Conduct all staff screening and interviews in conjunction with HR Coordinator
- High level interpersonal skills to give constructive feedback and serve as trusted resource
- Provide field-based orientations as needed
- Maintain awareness of current clinical trends
- Serve as a clinical resource for all new applicants during the onboarding and orientation process
- Perform periodic review of and keep current all educational materials
- Promote staff compliance with OSHA regulations, infection control practices and privacy policies
