Description
Position Purpose:
This job contributes to Starbucks success by ensuring our service and store standards are met. We do this by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products. Starbucks and partners will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere.
This position also performs additional responsibilities needed to help the store manager with daily operating procedures, such as maintaining quality store operations, and maximizing financial contributions.
In addition the lead will be responsible for ordering supplies/product, tip allocation, opening/closing cash procedures, and deposits.This position does not provide patient care.
Nature and Scope:
This position is challenged with providing quick and efficient service while still providing quality beverages and maintaining a pleasant attitude.
The incumbent has the authority to satisfy customer requests within the guidelines, and act as necessary to keep the area clean.
Decisions that must be referred to the supervisor/manager include what items to serve, any equipment failure, and complaints from customers, scheduling, and any problems with co-workers.
In addition, this position is responsible for:
1. Develops enthusiastically satisfied customers all of the time.

Education:
