Currently, our office is seeking a Dental Assistant for our practice in St. George, UT The ideal candidate will bring prior dental experience, high attention to detail, an ability to multitask as well as skills in being a team player and conflict resolution

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental work.
• Help with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assist dentists chairside during various dental procedures.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Expose dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and care for dental x-ray equipment.
• Give patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
• Collect and record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Care for dental equipment.
  

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior dental experience is highly preferred.
• Cerec Training preferred, but willing to train.

• $15 - $19/hr (Dependent on Experience)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 5 days a week
