Are you a Licensed Audiologist seeking a new challenge?
Would you enjoy making a difference in the lives of Veterans?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Before meeting with you, Veterans submit their claims. Their medical records are uploaded to a secure portal for your review during the appointment. Your responsibilities include performing a Maryland CNC Test, a Puretone Audiometric test, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) on the portal. This information is crucial for the VA to determine benefits for the Veterans.
The Audiologist will not be involved in prescribing treatments or devices.
In this role, you will assess an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule - 2 days/week - Monday, Friday
This is an IN-PERSON role that provides 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No late evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales.
