    Job Description

If you love digging into plans, but also want to grow in your expertise in other areas of preconstruction, Petticoat-Schmitt is the place to be.

As a Junior Estimator at Petticoat-Schmitt, you are a valued part of our preconstruction team. At our company meetings, you'll see the results of your bids as they turn into successful projects and how they impact our company's financials.

You will be interacting with our operations team on a regular basis. There will also be occasional opportunities to expand your skills by supporting the preconstruction team with things like procurement, purchasing, or helping operations with a schedule or budget.

You will have the opportunity to work somewhere where you can make a significant contribution that creates opportunities for the entire company. What you and your team BID and WIN, we can then go BUILD.

At Petticoat-Schmitt, we work together to build life-changing infrastructure. • You are obsessed with details, highly organized, and efficient with your communication and how you prioritize.
    • You thoroughly understand the complexities of each project and think strategically about how to build the best bid and have the confidence to explain it to others in detail.
    • You always follow the process to make sure nothing gets missed and all standards are met.
    • You know how to efficiently and effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to get the information you need and to maintain collaborative relationships.
