    Position SummaryThe University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks an Allergy, Immunologist to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy Medicine.

    The division cares for a unique array of patients in a diverse, underserved population.

    As the only academic medical center for the state, opportunity exists for innovation in teaching and providing care for both rural and urban populations from diverse cultures.

    This position will be primarily located in the University of New Mexico Hospital outpatient clinic area and would see patients daily and have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.

    This is a multidisciplinary section and has a strong fellowship programs in PCC/CC and Sleep and we are seeking an academically focused applicant to join our team.

    This position is Open rank on the Clinician Educator track. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.


    QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

    • MD or DO
    • Board certified in Internal Medicine & board eligible in Allergy/Immunology
    • Must be eligible to work in US

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Preference will be given to applicants with:* Experience/skills in providing exemplary medical care for Allergy disorders primarily in adult patients;* Experience in teaching residents and medical students
    • Evidence of scholarly activities
