    Risk Analyst Intro

    Join our Information Security team as a Risk Analyst, where you will have the opportunity to work on critical risk management tasks and enhance our security posture.

    This intermediate-level role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, problem-solving environment and is adept at working collaboratively.

    Risk Analyst Job Details
    This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in our Chicago office.

    The role is initially a 3-month contract with the potential to extend or convert to full-time employment based on performance and budget approval.

    You will be engaged in day-to-day operations, focusing on identifying control gaps and assessing risk within various processes.

    In this role you will help on two lines of defense:
    physical security and insider risk.

    Risk Analyst Mandatory Skills

    • 24+ years of risk management experience.
    • Managing risk and analytics, focusing on risk governance
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
    • Skilled in analytical reviews.
    • Write and develop policies with strong writing skills.
    • Ability to identify gaps in controls or processes.
    • Capable of reviewing and assessing requests for information and audit requests.
    • General understanding of risks, controls, and residual risks.
    • Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
    • Proven experience working within a team environment.
    Risk Analyst Desired Skills

    • Knowledge or experience in Operational Risk Management.
    • Experience leading projects.
    • Understanding of regulatory compliance, Internal Audit, and SRletters.
    • Experience with Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with regulations such as the Bank Protection Act is beneficial.
