    Description


    Century Group is working with a client who has an immediate need for a Staff/Senior Accountant for our medical device client.

    This is a temp-to-perm remote role that will eventually go hybrid with the office being in the San Fernando Valley.

    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $33 to $35 per hour.


    Responsibilities:

    • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
    • Process invoices, interact with vendors & research problems and provide consistent follow-up
    • Coordinate the company's day-to-day accounting, accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, payroll, banking, and other financial activities
    • Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports
    • Maintain capital asset records and depreciation
    • Maintain and update accounting records and files
    • Assist with month/quarter-end and year-end close process
    • Perform 1099, Sales and Use tax and other tax filings
    • Assist purchasing materials manager and engineering staff with purchase requisitions and orders

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Working knowledge of GAAP
    • QuickBooks online experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field (open to AA)
