As US Channel Manager Critical Power, you will develop and maintain a highly effective Critical Power (CP) sales channel strategy in the United States (US) in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations.
You will plan and ensure execution of CP sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for assigned channels in a profitable way:orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You will also proactively monitor assigned channel performance, ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when and where needed.
This role is responsible for leading, developing and coaching the related channel sales organization on a continuous basis.This position reports to

Your responsibilities
Strategy:
Defines and implements the US channel sales strategy in accordance with the broader CP marketing and sales strategy and ensures regular follow-up
Targets:
Defines key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix), ensuring they are achieved for the channel in respective markets, while implementing regular follow-up plans.
Negotiations:
Supports Local Channel Manager in the offering and proposal process for channel partners, and contributes to negotiations of NDAs, master sales and frame agreements
Partners:
Identifies and evaluates channel partners together with the Local Channel Manager and authorizes them in coordination with the sales management team
Defines and implements annual performance assessment and forecast process for channel partners
Marketing:
Coordinates sales, marketing, and training efforts that require channel partner participation
Channel management:
Draws policies and relevant standards (e.g. Market Segmentation, Customer Due Diligence, Cyber Security) to be used for channel partner evaluation and certification
Customer Relations:
Supports driving strategic partnerships, through developing personal relationships with key partners, customers and other decision makers
Risk:
Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels
When relevant, Cyber security aspects, details to be coordinated with the CS org for the digital solutions
People leadership and development:
Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Your background
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing or business administration or technical field / advanced degree desirable
Minimum 10 years related experience
Sales experience of a $25M + business
Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills
Senior Account Management experience
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

#LI-RemoteWhile base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $111,300 and $206,700 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
