    SUMMARY

    The role of Senior Financial Analyst entails serving as a strategic partner to commercial and category leaders, providing comprehensive financial analysis to drive informed business decisions.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • as the financial liaison to sales and category leaders, providing strategic financial insights that support decision-making.
    • financial analysis for new product launches, including capital expenditure evaluation, pricing strategies, profitability assessment & customer ramp up volumes.
    • financial planning and analysis for product transitions, ensuring financial targets are achieved with minimal disruption and inventory.
    • comprehensive portfolio analysis to evaluate the profitability of customer segments, fulfillment method, and product categories, identifying opportunities for growth & optimization.
    • with various teams across the company on cost-saving initiatives and margin enhancement strategies to improve overall financial performance.
    • the management of trade investments and promotional spending, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum return on investment.
    • detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial trends, forecasts, and strategic opportunities.
    • commercial & category scenario planning meetings, including preparation of P&Ls for both customer & category views.
    • forecasting for sales and margin of product lines category & sales channels down to the contribution margin level.
    • budget and forecasting cycles by leveraging industry & POS data and incorporating assumptions into projections.
    • a super user for SAP Analytics Cloud as it pertains to gross margin reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
    • of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role, preferably within a commercial or product-focused environment.
    • be an exceptionally strong user of Microsoft Excel
    • Power BI experience
    • analytical skills with a proven ability to work through complex data and deliver insightful, actionable recommendations.
    • communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with leaders and teams across business functions.
    • in financial modeling and analysis tools, as well as ERP systems and standard office software.
    • in consumer goods, retail, or a similar dynamic industry is highly desirable.
    • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
