Job summary
Develop and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ASTM, ANSI and other applicable regulatory agenciesCollaborate with department leadership to complete job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies and proceduresOversee and communicate industrial hygiene programs to relevant personnel including developing and executing exposure monitoring plansImplement controls to mitigate chemical dust exposure hazardsEvaluate implement machine guarding for complex high-volume automated equipmentInspect facilities machinery safety equipment to identify correct potential hazards ensure compliance with all applicable regulationsDesign deliver chemical-specific awareness trainingComplete maintain documented safety observations from regular hazard identification auditsInvestigate industrial accidents injuries occupational diseases determine root causes corrective actions preventive measuresDevelop implement emergency response protocolsAssist compliance for environmental regulations established EPA RCRA DOT TECQ other regulatory agencies.
