    Position Summary:

    As the Facility Manager, you will own overall accountability for driving Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) capabilities within one assigned site facility while providing oversight of any facilities management outsourcing partners (including, but not limited to, Physical Plant Maintenance Group, Food Services, Security, Housekeeping, Mailroom, Pest Control, etc.). This position is a single point of accountability and will deliver a quality, safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment within a site, with a high-touch customer service orientation. As a lead facilities/maintenance operation, infrastructure management, space management, and onsite employee and business services at the site. This position reports directly to the Micro-Regional Lead role.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Facility quality, safety, compliance, and performance for site-level business customers.
    • Interact with site and corporate leaders to represent Facilities (E&PS)
    • Lead complex relationships with outsourcing partners at site level, as applicable.
    • Good people management skills, strong technical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including presentation to small and large groups of people.
    • Lead meetings with site occupants to communicate site service changes.
    • Lead meetings with site leadership to communicate site service changes.
    • Build a strong team to serve the site, consisting of a Facilities Site Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Site Lead, Employee Health and Well-Being Site Lead, and a designated Business Leader.
    • Ability to recognize and communicate emerging site issues to Micro-Region Lead
    • Ability to adapt to emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations.
    • The ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation is required.
    • Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite; required.
    • Gather and submit metric data to satisfy internal and external requirements.
    • Serve as primary site liaison for Environmental Health & Safety compliance (as appropriate)
    • Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
    • Implement business continuity plans and infrastructure management programs.
    • Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects.
    • Build an annual site facilities budget per business need.
    • Proficient in Knowledge of Maximo Maintenance.
    • Proficient in cGMP & GLP regulations
    • Leadership in Change Management
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education:
    • A University/ Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; a degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
    Required:
    • Minimum of six to eight (6-8) years of relevant work experience
    • Knowledgeable in utility-based systems (chilled water, steam, compressed air, etc.)
    Preferred:
    • Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business disciplines.
    • Documented success in achieving project goals.
    • Certifications (e.g., IFMA, CEM, RCM, etc.)
    • Budget/financial leadership skills
    • Strong record of local collaboration, ensuring completion of projects and people development
    • Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus.
    • Critical GMP/GLP regulated experience.
    • Medical Tech R&D experience
    Other:
    • Up to 10% domestic travel is required.
