    Description

    Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Bone Marrow Transplant unit.

    As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support during the bone marrow transplant process.

    This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after bone marrow transplant procedures
    • Monitor patients' condition, vital signs, and laboratory results
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Educate patients and their families on the transplant process, potential side effects, and selfcare measures
    • Ensure adherence to medical office standards and protocols
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athenahealth)
    • Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey
    • Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to address psychosocial needs of patients
    • Coordinate with occupational health specialists to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
    • Minimum [2] years of experience in bone marrow transplant or related field
    • Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
    • Proficient in airway management techniques
    • Familiarity with ICU protocols and procedures
    • Competent in administering injections and other medical treatments
    • Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highstress environment

    13 weeks, ASAP start, 3x12hr days

    $2529 weekly gross/36hrs

    $1080 weekly taxable

    $1449 weekly tax free stipend


    Requirements:
    2yrs exp required


    BLS
    Cancer experience required

    Chemo cert preferred
