This Instrumentation & Electrical Technician role is based in Liberal, KS and involves ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of company pipeline and plant assets in the vicinity. The key responsibilities include calibrating and inspecting measurement equipment, carrying out routine plant maintenance, addressing and reporting product leaks, as well as aiding in construction, upkeep, and mechanical integrity projects in the plant. Compliance with all relevant DOT and OSHA regulations to uphold standards is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support for installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment
• Performing planned maintenance checks and calibration
• Utilizing precision tools such as Fluke meters and torque wrenches
• Inspecting pump tear downs, rebuilds, and installations
• Collaborating with Pipeline Integrity and Reliability group on equipment technologies
• Ensuring safe and efficient operations through maintenance work
• Staying updated on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills through training
• Recording equipment measurements and tolerances
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Responding to emergencies and participating in safety actions
• Completing required operations and safety training
• Identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Reading and interpreting pump curves, P&ID's, and diagrams
• Working on air pollution control equipment
• Supporting Quality Assurance initiatives with contractors

Required Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the job posting country
• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Physically capable of various job demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• 4+ years of experience in specific technical areas
