    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in researching regulatory issues associated with various markets.
    • For customer replies and product marketing, investigate raw material chemical inventories.
    • Obtain and review supplier documentation, and in coordination with supply chain and the laboratory, compose replies to customer inquiries and customer forms.
    • Coordinate relevant information with Chromatech Europe.
    • Compile and catalogue information according to internal practice. Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations and standards related to company operations or products.
    • Hazard communication; author Safety Data Sheets associated with company produced products in accordance with established rules. (OSHA Hazcom). Maintain updated vendor SDSs, liaising with suppliers to obtain SDS and other regulatory data associated with purchased materials.
    • Liaise with local, state, or federal representatives on environmental, health, or safety related topics as needed in coordination with the Operations Manager. Assist with or coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions.
    • File relevant documentation in e-files for recordkeeping.

    Qualifications

    BS in environmental science, chemistry, industrial hygiene, or similar with (Copy of Certificate and all related Certificates are required) and 2-5 years of experience of regulatory affairs. College graduates with coursework in environmental and/or safety regulations will be considered.

    • Working knowledge of common safety and environmental regulations associated with a manufacturing environment.
    • Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills when dealing with Chromatech Staff, Customers, Suppliers and Government / Regulatory Agencies and Vendors.
    • Project management experience and skills, compiling internal and external information to manage customer requests and product information management.
    • Must have excellent internet research proficiency.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc), and the ability to learn and navigate new database / software systems.
