Salary & Benefits:

• Starting at $17.00$21.00/hour (DOQ).

Hours:

• Parttime position.
• Weekdays and occasional weekends.
• Daytime and evening hours.

Job Requirements:

A substitute Bus Driver is needed for the Park District's 39 passenger bus.

Shifts include adult day trips, summer camp field trips, and Days Off Club trips (on days when school is out).

This position has varying hours, mainly on weekdays with minimal weekend shifts.

As this is a substitute position, the Bus Driver can pick up shifts based on their availability throughout the year.

Applicant must be a safe and conscientious driver, excellent with navigation, experienced with driving a large bus, familiar with the greater Chicago/suburban area, comfortable with driving in downtown Chicago as well as out of state.

Qualifications:

• Previous bus driving experience is preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Must successfully pass a DOT preemployment physical & drug/alcohol screening (at park district's expense).
• Must successfully pass a background check.
