The Department of Pediatrics seeks to hire a Clinical Faculty Position to join the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine ( GPAM ) at the University of North Carolina.This position will provide clinical care to the pediatric and adolescent population in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Clinical efforts may include a combination of pediatric diagnostic care medical education academic activities Child Abuse inpatient consultations at UNC Medical Center Inpatient care at Youth Behavioral Hospital YBH Butner NC
The YBH facility is a newly established innovative 50 plus patient child adolescent psychiatric hospital four individual specialized units serving children families This faculty member will function as core member medical team providing services adolescents YBH As clinical faculty member this person will join program includes board certified general pediatricians child abuse pediatricians adolescent medicine specialists nurse practitioners LCSWs A percentage this position involve medical education supervision advanced practice providers successful applicant have history demonstrating expertise set skills The GPAM division one largest divisions Department Pediatrics includes Primary Care Complex Care Adolescent Medicine Child Abuse pediatrics division nationally known productive research program faculty addition long record teaching excellence Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill area North Carolina attractive place live work great climate schools mountains beach day drive
