    Description
    Summary:
    A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, they prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and nursing personnel activities while upholding professional standards. The Registered Nurse offers direct and indirect patient care.
    Requirements:
    • A. Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
    • B. Experience: Six (6) months experience preferred.
    • C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana, American Heart Association BLS certification, Computer Competence within 4 weeks of employment, NRP within 3 months, Basic Fetal Heart Monitoring within 12 weeks, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.
