Job DescriptionDescription: Lamination Breakdown TechnicianOverview:
As a Lamination Breakdown Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of printed circuit boards (PCBs) through the lamination process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining lamination equipment, monitoring the lamination process, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring that production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
· Operate lamination machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to laminate PCB layers together. This includes loading materials, setting parameters, and initiating the lamination process.
· Monitor the lamination process closely to ensure proper adhesion and bonding of PCB layers. Utilize equipment controls and visual inspection techniques to detect any abnormalities or defects during lamination.
· Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the lamination process, such as delamination, air bubbles, or uneven bonding. Take corrective actions promptly to minimize production delays and maintain quality standards.
· Conduct regular quality checks on laminated PCBs to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. This may involve measuring thickness, inspecting for defects, and conducting adhesion tests.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks on lamination equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed, as well as following preventive maintenance schedules.
· Maintain accurate records of lamination processes, including production logs, quality inspection reports, and equipment maintenance records. Report any issues or deviations from standard procedures to supervisors or relevant personnel.
· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. This includes proper handling of materials, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and observing safety precautions around equipment.
Requirements:Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in electronics or manufacturing is preferred
2. Proven experience in operating lamination equipment in a PCB manufacturing or related industry.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
4. Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks accurately.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing setting.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
