Working Title Assistant Professor, Criminal Justice Brief Summary of Job Description

The Department of Criminal Justice is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor.

Job Duties

Successful candidate will teach entry and advanced-level undergraduate courses in the area of criminal justice.

Duties fall into three categories:
teaching, research, and service. Must be able to teach both in face-to-face and online environments. The successful candidate is also expected to maintain a scholarly research program that generates high quality research products.

Finally, all faculty are expected to engage in service to the Department/College/University, which includes serving as an advisor to criminal justice majors.

Required Qualifications

Ph.
D. in Criminal Justice or a terminal degree in a closely related field required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience, evidence of active research in scholarship, and evidence of teaching excellence
