- Provide floor coverage in the Fed, Grana and Private Kitchen and support the front of house team as needed.
- Provide clerical support, such as editing, printing and distributing menus, data entry and pulling reports from Reporting and Analytics.
- Complete projects delegated by manager in a timely manner
- When necessary, act as a host person, utilizing our guest reservation system and warmly engage with our guests to enhance the arrival, dining and departure experience.
- Maintain POS systems and update product pricing
- Ensure maximum level of guest service while maintaining Langham standards
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- 60% - Floor Management
- 40% - Administrative work
- Experience with and good understand of Micros POS, Microsoft Programs and F&B Menu knowledge
- Food Safety:Abide by food safety requirements and ensure others do so by monitoring FIFO inventory and visually inspecting food prep and delivery activities.
- High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in the food and beverage industry
- ServSafe Alcohol and/or TIPS preferred
- Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. as needed.Able to work long hours plus the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time

Job Summary .
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
The Food & Beverage Manager in Training will receive exposure to and provide support in all aspects of the food and beverage operation including floor coverage, clerical, administrative, marketing materials, and other duties to assist in the smooth operation of Food & Beverage. They are responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.
