We are looking for a highly skilled AEM Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Adobe Experience Manager solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in AEM Sites and related technologies, along with experience delivering scalable, high-performance digital platforms. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including UX, product, marketing, and backend engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end AEM solutions including content architecture, components, templates, and workflows.
- Develop custom AEM components using HTL, Sling Models, OSGi services, and servlets.
- Build and maintain reusable templates, editable templates, dialogs, and content fragments.
- Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, and CDN integration.
- Integrate AEM with external systems using RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party platforms.
- Implement personalization and targeting features when applicable.
- Support CI/CD automation using Maven, Jenkins, and Git-based workflows.
- Troubleshoot application issues including performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and replication errors.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to AEM best practices.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across AEM implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites).
Strong proficiency in:
Java, JCR, Sling Framework, OSGi
- HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Sling Models, Servlets, Workflows
Experience with AEM architecture including author/publish setup and dispatcher configuration.
- Solid understanding of AEM security, user permissions, and content governance.
- Experience building and deploying applications using Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful services and system integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise development standards.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools such as Adobe Analytics or Adobe Target.
- Experience with headless CMS implementation and SPA Editor (React/Angular integration).
- Exposure to GraphQL APIs in AEM.
- Adobe Certified AEM Developer or Architect certification.
- Experience with performance tuning, monitoring tools, and CDN configurations.
