    Job Summary:
    Responsible for all Locally Negotiated Rate accounts, key accounts, group bookings and meeting room bookings. Communicate with all active accounts on at least a monthly basis. Participate in sales blitzes and daily cold calls to gather information and generate additional room nights. Actively search for new business while continually tending to existing business.

    Oversee correspondence between sales coordinator and travel planner to ensure all necessary paperwork is received and meeting room is set as needed.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide sales coordinator all necessary information to generate contract
    Work with sales coordinator to ensure all groups' & clients expectations are met
    Meet or exceed monthly target sales goals
    Actively promote the hotel on all sales calls.
    Actively promote company through cold calls, appointment calls, maintenance calls and site tours
    Dress in appropriate business attire as approved by the General Manager
    Turn in a completed sales report weekly and be prepared to discuss calls at weekly meeting
    Keep accurate and up to date files on all clients and sales activities
    Maintain "tickler" file for all pending business and bids. Call on accounts as scheduled
    Respect confidentiality of clients
    Converse in the lobby with in-house guests to learn of existing or prospective business and to promote return business-follow up as necessary
    Turn in expense and commission reports as scheduled
    Participate in revenue meetings
    Adhere to company policy and house rules as outlined in employee Handbook.
    Other duties as assigned by General Manager.
