    As an Analyst in Strategy team, you will be involved in high-priority projects that are at the top of our senior management's agenda and at the forefront of our industry. Your responsibilities will include developing growth strategies, entering new markets, forming partnerships or acquisitions, and initiating cross-line of business projects. These projects are team-based and will require you to collaborate extensively with senior executives and cross-functional business partners.

    What you will be doing:

  • Support the development of strategic priorities for EZCORP, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-suite and other senior leaders
  • Collaborate with teams across functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, marketing)
  • Structure and build quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Analyze operational and financial data
  • Support the M&A Team through the research and analysis of industry landscape to evaluate new opportunities and identify emerging trends and complete due diligence as needed
  • Support creation presentations for Senior Leadership and EZCORP's Board of Directors
  • Conduct competitive and market research, and create reports and dashboards
  • Compile data and insights and synthesize themes for market projections, including macro-economic data, market trends, and competitive developments
  • Support ad hoc project requests for market data analysis and business intelligence
  • Assist in the creation of slide presentations for diverse audiences; create original content and assist senior team members in creating impactful presentation graphics to convey complex information and tell a clear story
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of strategy workshops, scenario planning exercises, and presentation of deliverables
  • Conduct secondary market research and assist with primary interviews with subject matter experts; compile, synthesize, and analyze information and document sources
  • Organize and maintain a knowledge base of market intelligence, data sources, competitive intelligence, and market forecasts for easy access by the team
  • Build and maintain a set of visual presentation templates and slide libraries to increase the efficiency of deliverable creation
  • Apply strategy frameworks and models to structure and simplify complex information and to facilitate understanding and decision making
  • Participate in peer reviews of projects; contribute thoughtful input to strengthen the work and help ensure the team produces unbiased insights and high-quality recommendations
  • Over time, develop subject matter expertise with a well-rounded understanding of EZCORP's vision, strategies, customers, markets, products, technologies, and business operations
  • Provide research and analytical support to other projects as needed
  • What we are looking for:

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, or similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree; excellent academic credentials / GPA
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environments
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams
