    This Marketing Specialist position has lots of potential for contributing to our company's success.
    You will collaborate with our internal teams to provide communications for agents and employees.

    You will be a part of the branding team and provide your consultation and expertise for simple to complex projects.

    You will support teams throughout the company to ensure their messages are clear, concise and timely. Your services will be in high demand, so prioritizing where and how to invest your time, as well as coordinating the efforts of your resources to get the biggest return is critical


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Develop, write and edit agent materials for manuals, bulletins, brochures and other communications

    Lead planning, writing and publication for employee communications

    Oversee social media calendars, content and strategy

    Provide communications support for corporate and department projects

    Provide communications support for executive messaging

    Serve on the branding team

    Required Skills

    Proficiency in oral and written communication

    Proficiency in communications plan development, including project management, driving readership and personalization

    Understanding of social media platforms, Google Analytics, SEO and marketing automation

    Ability to take ownership, anticipate issues and work ahead to meet deadlines

    Ability to multitask in high-demand, high-volume environment

    Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key business partners and vendors


    DESIRED SKILLS
    Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint

    Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

    Knowledge of insurance industry, distribution and products

    Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.


    Qualifications:

    • The structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
    • Modern equipment and communication tools used for business functions and program, project, and task coordination, including computers and software programs relevant to work performed.

    • Effectively represent the department and the District in meetings with governmental agencies; community groups; various business, professional, and regulatory organizations; and in meetings with individuals.

    • Use tact, initiative, prudence, and independent judgment within general policy, procedural, and legal guidelines.
    • Effectively use computer systems, software applications relevant to work performed, and modern business equipment to perform a variety of work tasks.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, using appropriate English grammar and syntax.
    • Establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
