    **Join Our Team as a Histology Tech**

    **Job Description:**

    - **Start Date:** ASAP
    - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
    - **Patient Ratios:**
    - Days: 1:1
    - Nights: 1:1
    - **Orientation Hours:** 40
    - **Preferred Qualifications:**
    - Strong experience in histology (10+ years preferred)
    - ASCP-HT certification
    - Associate's Degree in Science

    - **Required Skills:**
    - Grossing and fixation
    - Frozen Section/tissues
    - Additive fixatives
    - Immunohistochemistry
    - Thin Prep preparation

    - **Work Experience:**
    - Preferred hospital experience
    - Routine Hospital Anatomical Pathology specimens

    - **Special Procedures/Unit Details:**
    - Grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining (automated IHC & special stains)
    - Cytology skills including thin prep, cell block, and cytospin

    - **Patient Age Groups:**
    - Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

    - **Interdisciplinary Support:**
    - Collaborate with Phlebotomy and Radiology teams

    - **Scheduling Type:** Other
    - **Pre-Approved Time Off:** 1 Request
    - **Weekend Shifts:** If covering NOC or PM is Sunday-Thursday
    - **RTO Restrictions:** No more than 7 days
