    About This Role

    • Provide professional music therapy in accordance with company protocols and accepted certification practices
    • Inform and educate patients, staff, and facility partners about music therapy
    • Establish therapy objectives as part of patient assessment
    • Plan, review, and assess therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness
    • Take an active role in sessions by playing instruments, singing, and listening
    • Encourage patients to participate in sessions and respond musically to provide comfort during end-of-life care
    • Support patients' creative development and facilitate positive changes in their behavior and well-being

    We're Looking for a Hospice Music Therapist with:

    • Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
    • Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential according to U.S. Certification Board for Music Therapists
    • State music therapy licensing where required
    • At least six months of experience in geriatric healthcare
    • At least six months of experience in end-of-life/terminal illness healthcare
