    All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position OverviewRiverside Research is seekingan experienced Scrum Master to join our agile development team at NASIC. You will play a vital role in guiding and supporting the team in implementing the Scrum framework. You will work closely with the product owner and development team to ensure effective collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Proven Scrum and servant leadership experience is essential.

    As the NASICs Scrum Master, you are accountable for the teams effectiveness in successfully delivering value and in continuously improving to meet the evolving needs of the market.

    Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and RetrospectivesGuide the team in self-organization, cross-functionality, and adherence to Scrum principles and practicesIdentify and remove obstacles or impediments that may hinder the teams progressFoster a collaborative and productive environment, promoting open communication and teamworkCoach and support team members in adopting agile values, principles, and practicesEnsure iterative and incremental developmentMonitor team progress, track relevant metrics, and facilitate data-driven decision-makingPromote continuous improvement through regular retrospectives for inspection and adaptationFacilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholdersStay up to date with industry best practices and advancements in agile and Scrum methodologiesApply other agile development methodologies including Kanban and Extreme ProgrammingMaintain Jira and Confluence spacesSupport program manager with staff and resource planningQualificationsAn ActiveTop Secret (TS) clearance with SCI adjudicationBachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology or other related field of studyExperience supporting the Department of Defense and/or Intelligence CommunityProfessional Scrum Certification from Scrum Alliance or Scrum.
