- Ensure lab safety procedures are maintained at all times
- Maintain clean and orderly studio and lab conditions
- Perform general safety audits
- Supervise students in an open studio and lab settings
- Recommend supply purchases to Professional Crafts Program Manager
- Respond to the needs of the students within the studio and lab setting
- Secure building and equipment at end of shift
- Report noted equipment or building repair needs to Professional Crafts Program Manager
- Complete accurate and timely reports of any injury that occurs in the building during shift Additional Responsibilities
- Contact Security as needed to report any activity that is of concern during the shift Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge to operate a variety of crafts equipment safely
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
