    Job Summary

    This position is responsible for implementing, managing, improving, and troubleshooting business technology and operations technology systems for the site.

    The role includes providing direct support to users across the organization, with the set up of hardware and software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, and performing system and software updates.

    This role requires extensive familiarity with IT processes and procedures, effective communication, departmental enhancement, and user support. Senior IT specialists balance enterprise-wide support and enhancement with direct assistance for IT departments and users.

    Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other system problems.
    Replacing faulty hardware components when required.
    Conferring with users about solving existing system problems.

    Participating in IT projects as required.
    Providing network solutions to improve/upgrade corporate enterprise and site environments.
    Creating and updating Corporate and local policies and procedures for network operations and management.

    Qualifications
    Education & Experience
    Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
    5+ years of experience in IT Support operations
    B.S. Computer Science preferred
    CompTIA A+ preferred
    Knowledge
    Proficiency in a body of information required for the job
    e.g., knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
    FDA regulations, GMP Preferred
    Computer System Validation preferred

    Physical Requirements

    Physical & mental requirements e.g., lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.

    Sit and work at a computer > 2 hours
    Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy computer equipment
