- Takes part as a procedure assistant in various areas of interventional procedures;
- Ensures smooth operation and patient flow daily, collaborates with fellow interventional staff within the Heart & Vascular Center;
- Trains as a scrub person in cardiac catheterization, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, or interventional neuroradiology (aiming for proficiency in 3+ areas);
- Actively looks for ways to cut operational costs by standardizing supply-chain across all interventional suites;
- Carries out other job-related tasks and projects as needed;
- Regularly joins in collecting data for PI and audit efforts;
- Must be a licensed Radiologic Technologist in Florida/ARRT-R or a graduate of an RCIS or RCES program;
- Must hold certification in RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV, CI, or VI with over 2 years of experience;
- At least 2 years of recent experience handling all aspects of cardiovascular lab procedures is preferable;
- Must possess a current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RCES, ARRT, or CVT certification;
- Certification in American Heart Association healthcare provider BLS & ACLS required;
- Must be able to report on-site within 30 minutes during on-call shifts;
- High School Diploma required;
