    Description
    Our Texas based client is in need of a

    Project Engineer to provide project engineering support to the Public Works municipal group in Houston, Texas.

    You will be involved in designing water distribution systems and facilities including treatment plants and booster pump stations, wastewater collection systems and facilities, roadway/drainage projects, and other projects typical of a municipal engineering practice.

    You must be able to work independently to move projects forward or in a team environment to produce

    plans and specifications. Large diameter water line experience and water line routing studies are important. Water modeling experience is beneficial.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university: I.T. certificate and intent to pursue professional licensure in the State of Texas.

    4 years minimum of progressive experience as a Civil Engineer focused on municipal projects

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, high productivity, initiative and efficiency with task assignments

    Good communication skills

    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, prefer some GIS capability
