    Responsibilities:
    • Measures compliance and accuracy through routine pre-bill and post-bill reviews and audits
    • Measures and monitors company-wide performance, prepares reports, charts, graphs or other information relative to operational effectiveness
    • Maintains and manages numerous daily and monthly reports needed to ensure high quality, real-time compliance practices
    • Develops and monitors reporting tools to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), (e.g. Status of trip inventory, authorizations captured/pending, PCS and Signature compliance)
    • Performs routine audits by market and individual to train to compliance
    • Partners with Operations to resolve issues surrounding unbilled claims, authorizations, Physician Certification Statements (PCSs), Patient Care Reports (PCRs), and insurance, and demographic capture issues
    • Responsible for escalating concerns regarding questionable paperwork to appropriate management
    • Ensures all audits are conducted timely
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Must have ambulance billing experience
    • Extensive Medicare and Medicaid experience and understanding medical necessity in ambulance transportation
    • Ambulance/Medical billing certification or diploma preferred
    • Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Analytical - collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data
