Description

Any candidates submitted with a taxable home address within 60 miles of the facility location will be billed at a rate 10% less.

Position Available: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Anamosa, IA

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Range: $56-$62/hr

Shift Notes:

• Nights: 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week
• Travelers must be COVID vaccinated; Medical/Religious Exemptions provided upon request
• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
• NBO: 8 hrs

Submission Requirements:

• 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry and neuro care experience required
• Experience with tele strips

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

• Iowa (Compact Allowed)

Detailed Job Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit during night shifts.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC to document patient information and treatment plans.
• Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Responding effectively to emergencies and providing appropriate interventions.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their hospital stay.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the healthcare facility.
