Brockton Hospital is a community-based non-profit 216 licensed bed teaching hospital, providing a full range of clinical services to residents of Southeastern Massachusetts. SMG is a multi-specialty physician group of more than 150 employed physicians practicing in 18 ambulatory locations. Signature Medical Group employs 45 primary care physicians practicing in 10 locations throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and collectively representing 80,000 covered lives. Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is situated in Plymouth County. Brockton, Massachusetts has a population of 100,000 while Plymouth County boasts a population of 530,000. Signature Healthcare has appreciated a clinical affiliation with BIDMC since 2013. The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is recruiting a board certified/board eligible full-time community-based Hematologist Oncologist.
The Oncologist will practice in our beautiful Greene Cancer Center recently built in 2017. Working alongside two experienced Oncologist this is a busy Community Cancer Center with close affiliations with a Harvard Medical School teaching Hospital. The Oncologist will evaluate and treat both patients with solid tumors as well as benign and malignant blood disorders. The oncology practice sees over 100 new Hem/Onc consults monthly.
