Freddie Mac's Finance Division is seeking a Financial Controller Professional to be part of the Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) CFO department.

The I&CM CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac's Capital Markets activities.

The hired individual will join the I&CM Financial Reporting & Analytics team and contribute to internal and external reporting financial analysis and presentations.

Our team is responsible for providing financial results, analytics, and business insights to support financial disclosures and business decision making.

Create monthly and quarterly analytical presentations for various stakeholders, including senior management, the Board of Directors, and our regulatory
Provide timely and accurate financial information for use in both internal and external reporting
Learn and understand business concepts and market drivers central to explaining our financial results
Partner with colleagues in Finance and the Capital Markets Business Division to gather financial results, business metrics, and related explanations that support our analytics and reporting to management
Build and maintain reporting in our Financial Forecasting system that is consistent with our actual reporting
2-4 years of financial reporting and analytics work experience
~ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree
~ Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts
~ Strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills
~ Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
~ Hyperion, Peoplesoft, Tableau, or Python Knowledge (preferred)

Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of finance and accounting
Ability to transform data into a meaningful visualization
