    Scion is paving a path in student living and we're seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator, Creative Services to join us in executing our vision.

    The Marketing Coordinator will use their knack for accuracy and passion for customer service to support administration of all marketing efforts.


    The Marketing Coordinator is accountable for delivering world-class organization and coordination to assist with conveying Scion's branding message to internal teams and customers.

    This position demands well honed interpersonal and communication skills, versatility and flexibility, an affinity for problem solving and acute attention to detail.

    For FLSA purposes, this position is exempt.

    This position will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Chicago, IL.

    Your Responsibilities


    Ensure that the integrity of our property and corporate brands are maintained, customers are engaged, and team member well-being is preserved.

    Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to develop appropriate marketing materials. Including facilitating the ordering, proofreading, communicating status updates and achieving production deadlines for promotional and brand collateral.

    Thoroughly review art requests, promo materials and communications for grammar and punctuation accuracy and brand alignment.

    Maintain positive vendor relationships and manage necessary production coordination.

    Contribute with fresh ideas and innovative suggestions for experiential outreach.

    Assist with curating content email marketing campaigns and implementation of the process, portfolio-wide.

    Assist with creating and revising original content for Scion's corporate and property websites.

    Support the planning and execution of customer experience initiatives and events.

    Assist with collecting imagery for community website updates, and creating written content.


    Stay current with budget expectations, assist with compiling finances and managing variance requests and advise on best practices for the department to remain within budget.


    Coordinate with various teams on the development of campaigns and assist in the auditing of all branding initiatives, websites and materials.

    Provide communication and the necessary follow up to ensure compliance with branding standards.

    What We Require

    College graduate preferred, with 1-2 years of customer service, administrative or marketing experience.

    Proficiency with marketing principles is preferred; Demonstrated effort to stay current with these principles and trends.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Experience with Qualtrics, Airtable, inMotion and Entrata is a plus.

    Willing and able to travel about 25%, paid by the company.

    Operational Details

    Job location is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters.

    Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
