- Provide accurate interpretation services between students who use ASL and those who communicate verbally, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa, conveying messages accurately while maintaining the tone, context, and intent of the original communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Deaf Studies, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification) required.
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and proficiency in spoken English.
