    LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Contract-to-Hire Legal Assistant with extensive calendaring/docketing experience for a distinguished trial law firm in downtown Los Angeles. This unique position combines the responsibilities of a Legal Assistant with those of a Calendaring & Docketing Clerk.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize Compulaw to manage and maintain accurate calendars for legal proceedings, deadlines, and appointments.
    • Monitor court rules and deadlines to ensure compliance with filing requirements.
    • Proactively communicate with attorneys to keep them informed of upcoming deadlines and case-related events.
    • Handle legal assistant responsibilities, including e-filing in State and Federal courts.
    • Format and create legal documents, ensuring compliance with court standards and firm requirements.
    • Assist in the preparation of legal forms, documents, and correspondence.
    • Create and manage document templates and shells for various legal processes.
    • Stay current with technological advancements and tools relevant to legal calendaring and assistant tasks.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in calendaring/docketing roles, with expertise in Compulaw.
    • Strong understanding of legal assistant tasks, including e-filing, document formatting, and template creation.
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in calendar management and legal document creation.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.

    The pay range is $28-32/hour. Parking will be provided.
