    Description
    SUMMARY:

    This position will be responsible for the unloading, counting, stocking, and recording of incoming materials. They will be replenishing the floor stock, removing materials from the stockroom according to the manufacturing picklist and will be recording the transactions. The Materials Handler will also perform cycle counts as scheduled as well as other duties in shipping, receiving, order processing, and material handling as required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Responsible for controlling the movement of physical inventory and other materials in the warehouse.
    • Assist with production requirements when needed.
    • Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
    • Adherence to IMS.
    • Various duties and special projects as required.
    • Additional duties as assigned

    • Be able to identify part numbers for components & put them on the proper racks, carts etc.
    • Must obtain license for forklift & cherry picker.
    • Works with supervisor, shift and line leads.
    • May have interaction with quality, process and maintenance personnel.
    • Works as a team with fellow employees on the production line.
    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing maintenance. Must have a High School Diploma/GED,

    with an ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in English.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Basic problem solving skills, ability to define and solve problems.

    • Possible release agent material, anti-squeal and dust particle exposure in the environment.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 50-70 lbs.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
    • Works with supervisor and management personnel from all departments.
    • Will have interaction with quality, process and maintenance personnel.
    • Works as a team with fellow employees on the production floor.
    2nd shift: 1:45pm-10:15pm
