    General Function:
    As a Registered Pharmacist, your main responsibilities include providing quick, effective, and friendly customer service. You will be filling and verifying prescriptions, advising patients, and assisting with the pharmacy's inventory management.


    • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, showing care, concern, and patience in all interactions.
    • Greets customers with a smile, learns their names, and assists them effectively in finding products.
    • Answers calls promptly and offers helpful service.
    • Assists in inventory control, ordering, stocking merchandise, and maintaining records.
    • Supports coaching, counseling, and training of team members.
    • Fills and verifies prescriptions in compliance with regulations.
    • Participates in marketing initiatives and outreach activities.
    • Maintains a professional appearance and follows security procedures.
    • Takes charge in the absence of the pharmacy manager.
    • Ensures prompt and courteous customer service.
    • Communicates effectively with the pharmacy manager regarding any changes or issues.
    • Adheres to company policies and guidelines.

    Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with other departments to promote wellness and pharmacy services.
    • Assists in various store areas as needed.
    • Handles other job-related tasks and projects as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:

    • Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex variables.
    • Proficiency in mathematical calculations and communication.

    Education and Experience:

    • Requires a college degree and pharmacy licensure.
    • Continuing education is needed to maintain the license.
    • Previous experience in a related role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a plus.
    • Ability to administer immunizations is required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift weights, perform various physical activities, and have visual and auditory capabilities.

    Working Conditions:
    This role involves a fast-paced environment in a retail setting with exposure to chemicals and solvents.


    Equipment Used:
    Pharmacy software and hardware, cash register, ordering unit, and other standard tools.

    Financial Responsibility:
    Responsible for managing company assets and purchasing inventory within set limits.


    Contacts:
    Daily interactions with customers, suppliers, and support staff, occasional engagement with organizations and regulatory agencies.


    Confidentiality:
    Maintains privacy of medical and pricing information as per regulations.
