    This listing is for a job conducting market research through independent study and interviews. The
    study is attempting to gain a better understanding of the wine drinking attitudes of year
    olds toward the screwcap closure. The study is sponsored by the global wine product supplier,
    Guala, and remains independent of the opinions of the corporate sponsor. The market researcher
    will work with a team of Miami students, led by a Miami faculty member, with guidance from an
    industry consultant. The research team will convene in person, in Oxford, multiple times during the
    semester while the majority of work will be conducted online and independently. Work will begin
    in February and continue throughout the spring semester totaling between 30 and 60 hours.

    Essential Duties:

    General:
    - Communicate effectively and professionally in person, over email, and via phone/Zoom
    - Use of Google Suite such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Forms
    - Attend team trainings and meetings
    - Other duties as needed
    Research:
    - Follow established interview procedures
    - Communicate with research participants, which include global influencers in the wine
    industry
    - Adequately prepare for and accurately schedule interviews across time zones
    - Conduct 30-minute interviews with research participants using established interview
    protocol
    - Take thorough and detailed notes during and after interviews
    - Handle confidential contact information
    - Assist project lead in data analysis and presentation
    - Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    General:
    - Applicants must be current Miami students
    - Maintain good academic standing
    - Maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA
    Research:
    - Some working knowledge of wine products and industry
