    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Diet Clerk will: Follow all departmental procedures in the preparation of diets for all patients. Use written and verbal communication skills effectively considerately. Ensure timely completion of departmental functions. Coordinate schedules and activities of designated shifts. Demonstrate qualities consistent with the role of a Diet Clerk. Demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities for special diet calculation. Requires every other weekend & rotating holidays.


    Hours:

    10:30 AM - 6:30PM as needed during the week & 5:30AM - 1:30PM every other weekend and as needed during the week.

    Requirements High School diploma or equivalentOne (1) on the job training in food serviceTwo (2) years' experience (preferred) Basic knowledge of Nutrition TherapyRequired to completed three (3) Nutrition Therapy sessions with the Registered DieticianCertified Dietary Manager course (preferred) Basic computer knowledge; proficient computer skills (preferred)
