    Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

    Experience:


    • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.


    • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).


    • This role may require floating to additional units and locations


    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

    Required skills and experience: Work Settings, MS/Tele, Endocrine /Metabolic, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Colostomy care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Medication Administration, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Orthopedics, Ambulation, Respiratory, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Skin, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Simple dressing changes, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Wound drains/JP/Hemovac, Professional Topics and Skills, Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vital Sign monitoring, Intake and Output monitoring, Labeling of specimens, Age specific competency, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central line dressing change, Monitor Blood Product Administration

    Preferred skills and experience: Previous Charge Experience. Emergency Department.

    Required credentials: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. Government Issued Photo ID required. Drivers License/State ID

    Shift & schedule requirements: EOW. Call Required: dependent on staffing needs.

    Floating requirements: Would float to care for MS patients

    Unit and facility details: This is a MS/Tele unit with the possible care for ED holding patients

    Details:


    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

    7 days maximum time off

    2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
