- Coordinate and manage project deliverable requirements and activities with key resources including sales/marketing, engineering, Operations (Planning/Supply Chain), production, contracts and quality.
- Manage project performance in terms of scope, schedule and cost as outlined by the project management procedures and requirements.
- Engage continues process improvement and development opportunities, supporting project documentation requirements, proposals and customer needs.
- Support sales/marketing team in the development of customer proposals ensuring all technical and customer requirements are scoped and costed.
- Work closely with engineering and product line managers to ensure all customer RFQ/RFP requirements are properly scoped with a focus on proper equipment selection and direct labor resources.
- Respond to customer technical inquiries throughout the duration of the program/project.
- Serve as a technical advisor to customers on new product initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or similar field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desirable or in process of obtaining.
- 5-7 years of experience in engineering, design, analytical development or application work with at least 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience with DoD/Federal government contracting and/or International Defense contracting is desirable.
- Experience in MS Projects and Excel, ability to extract and analyze program data from ERP system.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
- Results / action oriented, high-energy level.
- US Citizen/ability to work on U.S. government programs, ability to obtain security clearance (if needed).

Project ManagerIn this role, the Project Manager (PM) will be primarily responsible for leading the execution of customer funded programs/projects from the proposal through customer acceptance phases. You will function as the customer primary point of contact during project execution and thus must have strong leadership skills, familiarity with PM processes, and well developed written and verbal communication skills. You will be working and interfacing with other departments including Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Spares, and Sales/Marketing to ensure execution of all program/project deliverables and requirements.
